Hello, my name is Gabriele.
I live in Novara, nearby Milan, in Northern Italy.
In my life, I lived in Germany, Ireland and China. I speak fluently English, Spanish, German and Chinese.
I worked as an Italian teacher in China for two years, and it was there where I discovered my passion for teaching my language and my culture.
I am qualified to teach Italian. I have a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, plus Italian teaching certificates CEDILS and CELI (for examiners).
After the pandemic I started working online, I have been doing it for more than a year and I love it.
I try to get my students to talk a lot in my class and to learn language through culture. I think one can't learn a language without learning its culture.
I can prepare materials according to my students needs. You need a class about the past tense? You got it. You need a class to practise your speaking for a certain certificate? You got it. You need a class about Italian Opera? You got it. You need a class about Italian proverbs? You got it. And so on. :)

I am available for teaching English language and literature. I have been studying English since high school and I keep practicing and studying it; I usually focus on grammar structures combined with developping conversation skills - making the lesson light and fun with games and activities tailored with the student's needs and preferences.

Graduate teacher, I give Italian lessons in Brussels and online.

I offer Italian and Hungarian lessons with more than 10 years of experience, with a PhD in Italian language and literature. I received my doctorate in literature from the Elte University of Budapest and since then I have gathered a lot of experience both in teaching Italian and in interpreting and translating. I have also lived and worked in Italy, in Rome, at the Hungarian Academy in Rome.
Since 2011, I have been living in Stuttgart with my family and have been teaching Italian and Hungarian at VHS Stuttgart for 4 years, but I would like to expand my experience elsewhere.
I offer one-to-one lessons, but also lessons in small groups at all language levels online or in person. Do you want to improve your Italian or Hungarian? Or are you a complete beginner? Are you preparing for an exam? You don't understand grammar or you just want to talk to someone about everyday things, but also about more complex topics such as art, literature, politics or other? No problem! I am at your disposal! :-)
As materials I use many kinds of books both for the Italian language (Passo dopo passo, Progetto italiano, Con piacere nuovo, Espresso...) and for the Hungarian language (Szia, MagyarOK, Lépésről lépésre....), as well as many interactive online materials: games, quizzes, articles of various kinds, grammar exercises etc...
